Who are the gatherings for?
Mums and their babies across South Hertfordshire & Cuffley, whether you're a few weeks into motherhood or a year in. Mums-to-be are very welcome too.
When are the first gatherings?
We're launching soon. Dates and venues are still to be confirmed. Register your interest and you'll be the first to hear when they're announced.
How much will it cost?
Prices are to be confirmed and will depend on the venue and what's included. Our interest form asks what you'd happily pay, so we can keep gatherings affordable.
Do I have to pay to register my interest?
No. Registering is completely free and there's no commitment. You only pay if you choose to book once a date and venue are confirmed.
Can I bring my baby?
Yes, that's the whole idea. Every gathering is designed with babies in mind, from pram space to somewhere comfortable to feed and change.
Is everything a sit-down event?
No. Alongside coffee mornings and brunches, we'll run gentle buggy walks, so some gatherings are on the move and outdoors.
I don't know anyone. Should I still come?
Absolutely. Plenty of mums will be coming on their own. We'll welcome you and introduce you, so you won't be left out.
Will the venues be pram- and baby-friendly?
Yes. We'll choose venues and routes with space for prams, step-free access where possible, baby changing and somewhere comfortable to feed. Full details will be in your confirmation email.
How will booking work?
Once a gathering is confirmed, everyone who registered their interest will be emailed first. You'll book and pay securely online and get a confirmation email straight away with the date, time, location and a map.
What about allergies and dietary needs?
Tell us when you book and we'll pass it on to the venue. Food is prepared by the venue, so we can't guarantee any dish is allergen-free.
What happens if it rains on a walk?
In light rain, we'll still walk, so bring a raincover. In very bad weather we'll email you the day before to move the walk or switch it to a coffee stop.
Will there be photos?
Sometimes, for our Instagram. We'll always ask first, and you can tell us any time if you'd prefer you or your baby not to appear.
Booking terms
These terms will apply once booking opens. Registering your interest is free and creates no commitment.
- Places are booked and paid for online through our ticketing partner. Your confirmation email is your ticket.
- Bookings are non-refundable, but you can pass your place to a friend. Just email us her name at least 24 hours before the gathering.
- If we cancel or move a gathering, we'll offer you a place on the new date or a full refund.
- A small booking fee may be added at checkout. It's always shown before you pay.
- Ticket details for babies and older children will be shown on each gathering when booking opens.
- You're responsible for your own children throughout the gathering.
- Please tell us about any allergies or access needs when you book.
